The original one broke about a year ago and replaced it with one from LMC. Well that one broke the other day, so I'm looking for a better replacement or fix for it. I just checked with Jeff's Bronco Graveyard, and they don't carry one for anything newer than 78'.
BTW, this is the spring that keeps the pedal off the pedal rod, not the TB spring. The truck has over 200K miles, so it's understandable that the original spring broke from normal use; but the replacement from LMC didn't even last 10k miles. Oh, the LMC part had a different look to it, and could've even been the wrong one they sent, but it did work for a short time. So maybe it was never even intended for my application.

Reason: change title verbage
Shameless bump just in case folks thought this was some kind of April Fool's prank
Although it could very well be a non-issue for most, or some have just ignored the floppy pedal nuisance if their spring is broken. I was actually hoping someone more clever than I has come up with a MacGyver-type remedy for it.
