HVAC module not working
I Started my '04 F150 lariat yesterday AM. Turned on the heated pass. seat for the dog, (Yeah, spoiled I know!) A hum started coming from the dash and the whole module shut down. No fans, A/C/Heat, or readouts from that module. The light for the seat heater stays on but no heat. Everything else in the truck works, specific 30A fuses seem fine, but no troubleshooting in the book. I stopped off at the dealership, he'd never seen this one before. Set up an appointment for today, They want to replace the module @ $479 + one hour troubleshooting/ installation time. Seems expensive to me?
