76 f150 steering column HELP!!!
Hey all, had to replace turn signal cam today, HOWEVER, managed to pull wire apart behind shift collar {auto trans}, removed 2 bolts holding steering tube flange, pulled flange, fixed wire, now trying to reinstall flange bolts. How do they connect with steering tube? Tube has a slot ,top and bottom lining up with bolts. Trying to figure sequence. THANKS

Those are a som-bitch..you have to get those square head bolts back into the slots, then keep pressure on them till you get the nut tightened down enough to keep the pressure, then they will tighten down on there own. not one of fords better ideas. it will cost 75 dollars worth of cuss words...
