Help wit body scratches!!
I just purchased an escape 2k3. It's only been a week and some idiot scrachted my car with his door. 
Its a small scratch, does anyone have any tips on repairing it?? Products? Thanks

Help wit body scratches!!
Get the exact color touch up paint from the dealer. First I would use alittle compound on the scratch to get it clean then apply a thin coat of the touch up paint. When that dies use a little compound to smoothen the edges of the paint you applied. You will have to do this about 3 times one coat per day. The object is to fill the scratch but if you try to do it in one coat it will be visable. The touch up paint is like nail polish. If you put alot on it will fill the scratch but leave a ridge on each side of the scratch. This is why you compound before the next coat of paint. To get rid of the ridges on the sides of the scratch. After its all done put a good coat of wax on the spot.
