Arrow UPDATE - Finally have the Codes

Okay finally had the codes read this afternoon.

Code 1: P0472
Exhaust Pressure Sensor and it read low

Code 2: P1271
Injector wiring - injector 1

So what do I need to do to correct the problems?
Is the Exhaust Pressure Sensor the same as the EBPV?

There is a tube from the front of the pass side exhaust manifold leading to the exhaust pressure sensor located under the pastic engine cover. The tube and sensor may need to be cleaned.

The EBPV is located back in the turbo pedistal. These will not cause your no start issue.

The injector wireing is where I would look.

can the wiring be fixed? Or does it need a new UVCG?

Check the one going into the valve covers there is a connector there that sometimes likes to vibrate loose otherwise you will need to pull the valve covers to check them out. They may be melted or simply just making a poor connection.

Question

Thank you -
Are the ODD # injectors on the passenger side or the driver side?

After being plugged in does it start and run normal?

I dont think those codes directly equal a no-start....

Thank you Paul and Chris for the great information.

It starts - sounds like a thrashing machine but have figures out how not not have the Roaring Romps... The truck actually drives like it is starved for fuel. It is drivable but not normal.

So I am thinking that I need to replace the UVCH?

At least look at the UVCH's and make sure they are plugged in all the way.

2000 7.3 F350 six speed straight drive

Need some advice on where to start:Was towing my 36' cargo trailor and the truck started loosing power and running rough. Had it programed with the Super chip light tow. Stopped and changed it to stock and went on for about 30 miles and same thing happened. Stopped and changed the fuel filter and the fuel pump inside the frame rail. No change. Before this problem I had just installed the 4" exhaust system. Any help?

Welcome, you should start a new thread for a few more hits but, here's info on the UVCH harness, https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...t=truck+shakes

Sounds more like it might be an issue with clogged screens in the mixing chamber, Welcome to guzzle's In-tank Hutch Mod Web Page

Do you get a Service engine soon (SES) light?
