Hey guy's, i just put on a Rough Country 4'' suspension lift on my 94 f150 and it came with a free steering stabilizer. After spending about a half hour under the truck trying to see were it hooks up, because the directions didn't make any sense, i finally figured out that the directions were for 250's,and 350's only. i don't have an existing stabilizer on there so i can't just swap it out. Has anyone put one of these in on their trucks, or does anyone have any advice?
I installed one on my '95 F150 not too long ago. I'll get a pic for you tonight when I get home from work so you can see how it mounts up. Basically, you'll have a pair of brackets that sandwich the passenger side framerail and provide a mounting location for one end of the stabilizer. The other end of the stabilizer will mount to a bracket that attaches to the tie rod with a pair of small u-bolts.
ya, it seems the bolts they gave me are about an inch to short, which is weird. So i'm just gonna go to the hardware store and pick some up, but thanks for the pic.
