I know this post is old but, I have a 2011 F150 xlt supercrew on order and I looking to buy some sort of bed cover. I was really considering the RollBAK G-2 retractable Tonneau cover but was curious if anyone had any thoughts or comments??? I live in Michigan with some pretty tough winters and I'm not so sure how that cover would do in snow/ice/wet weather??? My other choice was maybe the Undercover SE smooth paintable but I like the option of removing (rolling up) the cover especially if I out and need the load the bed???
I have a 2011 Platinum this is my 3rd retrax and I love it, I live in Iowa but I have a garage so I haven't had weather problems with it. I hope this helps, good luck with the new truck.

Reason: add
I have a retrax on my DRW and I think it does really well. I have a solid Leer cover painted to match on the 150 as I don't use it for towing, especially a gooseneck.
Now if the rain is strong it will get in on the Retrax, but not that bad and that's what you take a chance on with having it retractable. The solid one doesn't leak at all, even though they don't promise waterproof. If I ever have to pick up horse supplies and it could or is raining, I'll take the 150.
I've had three Roll-n-Lock covers now. Don't know how the others are, but have really enjoyed them.
They do not do well in the freezing rain though. It turns them into a sheet of ice and they will not roll at all--I imagine all the roll-up covers do this though. My newest does have a vynle type covering that keeps the cracks from being exposed and it seems to do a bit better than the previous covers.
With the Undercover you get a kit to hang it on the wall when you take it off the truck. Also they do not leak period. We know a little about rain here in Oregon [oreegun]. They only weigh 65# so they are easy to deal with when taking off or putting back on. Quick releases on the gas tubes. one sweet tonneau.
As far as a solid cover goes, I agree, the Undercover is a great cover that has a very good price. They have three models: Classic, SE, and SE-Smooth (must be painted)
