For what it is worth I used a crows foot a short extension and a breaker bar it took some finagling but I was able to get both nuts with that arraignment.
you want me to make one for ya? price of wrench plus shipping. itd be a favor, just pay it forward. Or are you pulling a snapon, being a smartass! hahaha jk strapon!
yeah taking a wrench to the grinder before ip timing adjustments is a must.
i didn't need to bend one though.just ground down the box end side nice and thin.
the bend must be for that one on the pass side, down low.yeah thats kinda miserable in its own rite too lol.good idea.
you can cut the open end off or leave it, i bent mine so i have more leverage. It just worked better and i can get the mounting nuts a lot tighter. Works like a charm, there is a reason i can remove an IP in 30, i have lots of custom made wrenches and things to make life easier.
Just pullin a snapon! After all I didn't get that nickname because I look a lot like him! I just haven't had the need to make a wrench for my pump yet, but you know what they say, Necessity of invention is a MOTHER or something like that!

Mike, those nuts are std 3/8" nuts that take a 9/16ths wrench not a 14mm. I havent needed to even make a wrench, i have more 9/16 then i will ever loose so one brand fits and works for each separate nut yay!

macgyver.........your user name suits you well lol.
that wrench has earned you a custom avatar. here ya go:
That rocks! I will use it as soon as I figure out how! Sure I can make a bomb out of a magnesium bicycle frame and a stick of gum, but when it comes to computers I am technically challenged. My wrench isn't as fancy as wrecks, but it sure did work! One thing I do know wreck is that if I were going to post pics of my hands on this site, I would make sure I had some grease under my nails first!!! LOL
All in fun bro, I've been a carpenter for 30 years, I'm just glad I still have 10 of em! Maybe if I kept mine clean I'd still have a wife!... NAWWWW I don't think so!!!
