Ball Joints

I have a 2005 F250 with 96k miles on it. I just put new wheels and tires on and took it for an alignment today. The alignment shop told me the upper ball joints were loose and the drag link ends were loose as well. How hard is it to replace ball joints and drag link ends? Has anyone done a write up on the procedure? I have access to a frame lift if that makes a difference. I would like to attempt it myself rather than pay the $825 the shop is asking.

If you have a lift it's not that big of a deal. the drag link is a breeze the ball joints are a little more technical but not to bad. Thanks! What are your recommendations for brands? I have had some people tell me to get the greaseable ball joints. I see Autozone has Motocraft brand ball joints available but I don't know if they are greaseable or not. O'Reilly has Moog which look greaseable but are double the price. Any suggestions?

when i get some time, i gonna put my XRF ball joints in... got them for $160

they are not grease-able... i have had both (sealed and greaseable) on another truck and they both lasted just around the same milage...

Moog is a good choice they have been around a long time and have a good rep.
