Yea isnt the front spring almost straight with no curve on F-250's?
yes thats true mine are negative arched a little. but the add-a-leaf before it goes in has a great big positive arch to it. and when you take the weight of the diesel off of it the springs become positive arch with it in there. i just wonder i am going to find out when i do this lift lol. if i have to go to blocks i will build ladder bars for it.
btw getting a positive arched add a leaf into a negative arched leaf spring is a major PITA. just in case you try it lol
To me, it looks like, you would cut your trans cross member off just to the left of the trans mount, bolt the one end of that piece in question onto the trans mount pitching the remainder of the stock crossmember between the new piece and the trans mount, than the other side bolts to the bottom frame rail like the stock crossmember did , and that bracket that goes from the top frame rail to the stock crossmember.

close. torn ligaments, and it is one of those removable cast things made out of stretch fabric with steel bars down the length, and velcro straps to keep it tight and leg non moving.
