06 Squeeking Door
I have just purchased an 06 long bed f-150 with high milage on it. I am going thru it slowly as time permits. I had found the passenger door stop, not the hinges, to be making a "quite" squeeking noise as it is started toward a closed position. A simple drop or two of oil I am thinking, but it then really increases in sound. I then clean it off and apply a senthetic grease, still loud, maybe louder. I finally got it back to a "quite" squeek again by cleaning it. Any of you have ideas on a lubericant, or should I just leave it cleaned as it is now? Thanks.
