I saw an auction on E-Bay for a center console for B II's that included a computer. The information states a computer is included and it operates LED readouts for various lights and functions of the vehicle. My BII is an 87. Are all BII's hard wired for this option or is this an add-on feature? If it added on where is the electrical hook-up to power the computer and how does it interface with the systems it monitors? Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.
I tried putting that same console in an old ranger that i had. It looked cool but i never got all the parts to make it work. There is a special wiper fluid box with a sensor in it that you need. Expensive from dealership and hard to find at junkyards. Also, to make the "lamp out" features work, you need special resistor wire (also hard to find). If you can get everything you need off the BroncoII then go for it. It would be cool. But if you only have the console and nothing else, you may have a hard time getting it hooked up. Good luck!
