I left for work this morning and as I turned out of my driveway I went to the next corner about 100' and made the right. While in the turn I stepped on the go peddle and the truck stalled for about half a second, all lights came on like I just turned the key on, then it started running again without me doing anything.
I'm not even taking the chance and ordering one to throw in the glove box but does this sound like another CPS. If so this makes # 6.
wow. I hope i dont have this problem. Just about to go out the door and get one myself, either ford or international. Does it matter? I know its not the good ones from clay or other places but just need one for now until i order the good ones. Also what happens if/when there are no more "good ones" left?
Ken r eds cps sensors ford? doesnt really say. and do the work as well as the ford or IH?
F7TZ12K073B that is the Ford Part Number, but you will find they are stamped with the International number, so they are one in the same. Look at the picture. This happens to be a dark blue sensor bought from Ford under P/N F4TZ-12K073-C, but is clearly marked with the International number.
If I may answer your question for Ken, Eric, all parts Ed sells for Ford are OEM or better, unless otherwise noted. Mike, I have the Int. black one from Clay in mine, my truck hasn't burped or cut out in 60,000 mile, great CPS so your fine.
Yeah I thought I had it licked.... Haven't had to change on in three years. I guess all good things come to an end. Now the question is do I buy another international to back up the international???? This is all getting very confusing...LOl
6 CPS's seems a bit much, ussually it only takes a good replacement to fix things up, I'd be thinking something else might be causing you problems going thru that many CPS's. Just my humble opinion..
