Notice I am leaking oilon the back side of the driver side. Come to find out its the valve cover gasket leaking so I tried to tighten them but all they did was spin on the back two. I guess they messed them up when they put the new gaskets on. Any ideas how to fix this problem?
how good are you with a drill and tap.
remove v/c ,drill and tap holes incert helicoil (loctite them in with 262) let set for a few min and reinstall valve cover
Whoops, I didn't catch the part about the valve cover bolts spinning. It still could be your ICP but the fact that the bolts don't tighten means the threads have been stripped out. If the threads in the head are stripped then you'll have to drill, tap and helicoil the heads but it could be that the bolts themselves have simply stripped which would mean you'd just want to chase the existing threads in the head with a tap and then use new bolts.
Go out and see if you can get the bolts out and see if they have any thread on them. The heads are going to be a little more tricky (i.e. a total bitch due to their location) to drill and tap, helicoils are the easy part...
