tranny compatable? help appreciated.

so my trans is acting up, I came across a reman 4r100 supposedly never installed for a lightning pickup. hope to put it in my early 99 350 dually diesel 2wd. here's a link to the ad.

ford superduty lightning f150 4r100 auto transmission

been up for a while (nice being on an island) so I got him into my price range. want to make sure it will work first. THANKS!!!!!!!!!

It will not mount to your truck. The casing is for a 5.4L modular engine, not a 7.3L PSD.

Like Stewart said, you need a 4r100 from a 7.3
