I saw this on ebay (Item # 2406876931). The item has ended now but this is the first time I had seen/heard of one of these.
Was this a pretty rare option? Is the wiring/switch alread on the T-Case even if you didn't order the optional light or would you have to find the switch/sender if you were going to add this feature to a truck that didn't come with it?
The shoptruck where I work is a '78 F150 4x4 400 auto, it has one mounted under the dash. It doesn't work, I never investigated to see what it was, just thought some PO had it hooked to a stereo or something. Now I'll have to do some digging around...
I was curious about this to. My buddy has a 4x4 light on his 81' F-150, but there is nothing on my 78' F150 4x4. Does anyone else have one of these light indicators? Or where to get one?
Hi-
I have one on my '76 F250. Mounts under dash, just right of ashtray. Light comes on when the "lock" position is selected on the 203 transfer case. Originally, I thought there was a switch for the light on the linkage, but a wire is attached to a sensor(i think) on the transfer case itself. Hope that helps!
