I'm getting tired of digging myself out of my place this year.
Got stuck 9 times in my driveway. It just keeps blpwing in this winter. Barely made it up the drive last night. So before work had to ge up early and snowblow the drive out. Took a little more than an hour.
Other days have taken me 2 to 4 hours to get my drive cleared.
The winds this winter just coming from a different direction than usual.
Tonight I stare out the wwindows and it just does not look like it should be spring. The first day has already come and past a few days ago. I still have no bare spots showing.
The road to my place has snow banks nearly as high as the roof of the car we have to drive through. Is this the future to come now.
I'm going nuts to get outside and start putzing around. Even the cats are goig stir crazy here.
I know what you mean Glen. The plow went past my place yesterday and I spent 2 hours on the road with the tractor this afternoon so I could get to work. I couldn't even have gotten through with the truck. Not a chance.
You are right, Glen, about the winds coming from a different direction this winter. The municipal plow opened the road past our place today again. There are banks as high as the truck cab where there never has been banks before. This winter is totally driving me nuts!
well I was having a hoot enjoying winter until these past few mild spells, now I want to go biking... sorry, I'm just a kid with toys to enjoy each season... No bitchin' here...
When it gets here. We will then have flooding. I suspect the road to my place will be under water in the next month here.Just means I have to drive the long way around to get to work. Take another 15 minutes.
Went out and bought some rubber boots. Soething I never had to have for my place before. But I suspect I will this year.!
Yeah your right. We need to be like the old vikings. We can take the cold for a minute or two. Then we wimp out again. Let me in> LOL
I'm just tired of it.
Sheldon your roads are going to be fun this sprng. I remember a few years ago how soft they were then. Could be a terror to keep vehicles on the road in those soft spots. Just you and Sandy becareful out there.
Excuse me My arthritis in my shoulder is acting up. Can't type anymore. LOL

Im just hassling you guys anyways, i know some of ya are sick of winter!
Yeah the gravel roads can be fun sometimes in the spring. We just got a new jeep and still have my 4x4 psd, so we will be fine! If things get too bad I can always take the 4x4 backhoe, or the JD crawler!
Been keeping busy at work as well Glen? Havent heard much from ya lately.
Yeah still at work. Had to take a few days off here for some minor surgery. Go for more surgery in April and more later.
Skin rashes that need to be surgically cut out and stitched closed. It is a gift from my mothers side of the family. Genetics.
Getting this done will help in areas from being so sore and I should get more movment without the aggravation the rashes cause.
No it is not contagious. !
lol.... I think we all whine and complain about the weather to some extent. After all the rain we had last summer though, my sump pit has been dry all winter, and only just started to get about 2" of water in it on tuesday. City has been working around the clock taking away snowbanks, beating ice away from storm drains and things like that. It won't help though. The storm sewers here aren't large enough to handle the flow of water, so we'll likely end up with another July 1 or worse.
