Hi everyone, I guess it's time for me to post. I've been lurking for a few weeks now and really absorbing this wealth of knowledge here. I stumbled onto an '04 Ex XLT V10 a few weeks ago while looking for a bigger pickup to pull my raft trailer and camping gear. I've been getting passed on the mountains by semi's with my V6 pickup fully loaded. Not fun. Decided to forego the pickup idea and got this instead. Really glad I did. I'm slowly getting all the fluids changed, belt and hoses changed. Put my 9000xl's on last night. Nice! 60k miles, it's an ex gov't vehicle. Here she is:
Nice looking Ex! Looks like the one I picked up a month ago. Now the fun begins - sway bars, shocks, entertainment systems, air bags... Just to name a few of the modifications I have done! The "mod bug" bites hard and fast! Watch out!!
Nice find, I sold my Toyota rock crawler and should have kept the winch, Warn XD9000I with syn rope... Damn! Where are you in Virginia? I'm up in the WV N.E. panhandle.
Thanks fellas! I think I'm really gonna love this rig. Me and some of my river buds are going out to Snake River, Wyoming this summer. It should get a real test then.
Locknload,
I'm not far from you at all, I figured how to update the location, just down the road in Stephens City.
