Barn Find!

Could anyone tell me what the value of an '89 f150 lariat ex cab with only 11,000 miles on it would be??? This is a nice find and I can't believe how clean it is! Donated to our church to sell...

I wouldnt know about the value, but i would love to see a picture of that. Value all depends on location. Where i live a clean truck 2wd would probably only be worth 3-4k, but with that low of miles i couldnt guess.

I agree w stump. Sitting all those years is bad for a vehicle. I would say it is equivilant to at least 100k on the gaskets and seals

I paid $10,000 for my 90 in 2000. it had only 2,500 miles on it. 10 years later, I would guess it should go for $4,000-$5,000

I guess its worth what ever you are willing to shell out, if two people want it that changes the price, you have seen it what do you think its worth?

no doubt in my mind it only has 11,000 miles--original tires, it actually smells new in the cab! Oils and fluids have been changed to synthetic to help the seals and all, driven occasionally, it starts like a new one, paint and all is original-with very few nicks...This was a retirement gift from the company and the man died shortly thereafter, the family has had it since now has donated it to our church to sell for a fundraiser--of which I am in charge of! I will post a picture soon...NADA puts a top number of $7700 but doesn't ask about mileage...

Ebay auction might be the best way to go for this one.

I inherited an 89 with 15,000 original miles from my inlaws. It looked and smelled like new. Started driving it and had to replace shocks because they started leaking oil, the exhaust system fell off it in a hurry, and the front calipers froze up and had to be replaced along withthe pads that they ruined. Just be aware that sitting is hard on the vehicle. Good luck

I agree with zxwut... You would probably bring a premium on ebay with that truck and even local people who would like to bid can still do so.

I'd also like to know the location, which motor, 4x4 or 2wd b4 throwing my hat into the ring on the price.

I would think you'd be looking at 4-6K local sale... But a well done ebay auction could bring you a lot more!
