This is the information:
VIN: 1FTDF14E78PB04328
WB:117
TYPE/GVW:F140
BODY:AB4
TRANS:F
AXLE:14
DSO:VY
If anyone can translate any of this stuff, please let me know. I know the axle is the 3.00 open 9". Thanks for all the help.
Dennis (assist admin here) has a place to help decode the rest. Works for most late 70's - very early 80's trucks.

Hope it helps.
Edit-The transfer case isn't going to be listed on either the VIN or the door jamb sticker. You'll need to crawl underneath and do some investigating. NP's have a stamp on them and mine had a round label plate with the model number stamped on it: NP 208 F.

TRANS:F - BW T-19
AXLE:14 - Ford 9" open diff 3.00 ratio 3750lb

E-mail me (not PrivMes) if you want a copy of the VIN decoding documents I have. '83 & '02 ~500Kb together.
