I have the 78 Ford Truck one and it is great. The only thing I wish is that you could view the manual in a full window mode instead of a split type screen mode with the index alway's showing.

Other than that, it is a true Ford shop manual. Was worth the price. I got mine at JBG.

I bought my 76 original shop manual on CD from faxon auto lit. Very handy and in depth with most everything. $30 for a 2600pg manual covering every model of that year is pretty good deal in my book.

 

hey skidodave, you can get the full screen /all yu have to do is hover over the center devider bar and click on it and scoot it over and bam ,full screen manual

Does it include vacuum diagrams?

 

Unfortunatly no.

 

The CD is basically a photocopy of the original service manual for your year of truck so you can't go wrong. I'm guessing skidoodave has the older version (before 2008) because now its a PDF and you can view it full screen and edit it. The only problem I found was that I think it covers every truck Ford made that year (F100-F600) so one section can be 200 pages and you only need 10. I started to filter out only what I needed so I can make a F150 2wd manual to print out.

It also included trivia from the model year like top movies, songs, news, etc. and a 16 page brochure with all the features, options, color choices that you probably got from the dealer back in the day. Pretty sweet.

 

Yeah it's all inclusive for that year. F100-whatever the biggest thing is C700 or something. Includes Econolines too. You really have to pay attention and make sure you're looking at the right diagram for your model.

 

Actually I do have a new version. I just didn't realize I could resize the window the manual part shows in. This is a great piece of kit to have.
