Question "Lazy" Door Locks?

I have recently noticed that sometimes the locks on the passenger side (Front & Rear) will not lock on the first attempt, rather they will make a "buzzing" or click...click..click, and the ***** will not hit the locked position.
Is this a common issue?
It is a sporatic problem, usually fixed by a few taps of the lock button. Is there someting inside of the door / lock mech. that I should lubricate, or perhaps a weak lock relay for the passenger side is the cause?
I am assuming that there are two relays 1 for D and 1 for P. Or I could be way off.
Can anyone advise?

"Lazy" Door Locks?

Jrahn,
My 98 was doing the same thing. It was on both front doors. I replaced the power door lock actuators in each door and fixed the problem. It not difficult. Pull the door panel to access the part. It helps if you have small hands. Hope this helps.

"Lazy" Door Locks?

I have the same issue on my '98 but the door doesn't unlock instead. No problems locking the doors but sometimes it just won't unlock. Any ideas?
