2011 Escape Fog Lights

Just bought a 2011 Escape XLS with no Fog lights when looking to add was told by Ford Maintenance that I could not unless they were put in when the SUV was built, of course know one knew this when I was buying the SUV. I have a spot where the put in black covers. Do I have some options to put fog lights in?

You can buy the factory one and they will fit. The switch may be a different deal, meaning- if the wiring was not there factory you may have to run your own and install a switch.
