Question mass air conversion

i stroked my 351w is it neccesary to convert to mass air?

mass air conversion

All my knowledge tells me........yes. I didn't want to hear it either. The speed ensity system just has too many strokes if it is not on a stock engine. You could, however, have the computer re-burnt and all that good stuff, but I would just call Ford motorsport and see if they have a conversion kit. I know Jeg's carries one from them for a 5.0L. mass air conversion

It is said more power and better computer control can be done with the speed density. Get a chip that can take full advatage of your setup for maybe 400. This would probably be cheaper than converting to mass which usually runs around 600

mass air conversion

I am not debating which is the best way or the cheapests way but on my project i got a mass air conversion from pro-flow.I am sure there will a couple more people wanting to make a debate out of this so i will leave at this I got the mass air conversion for mine but i am not saying it is the best or cheapest its just what i decided i wanted.Bottom line it is up to you.
