need some help

I have a 1980 150 4x4 I was told it was a 302 when I
bought it .
I was changing the air filter form a 9 inch to a 14 inch
and read on the intake that its a elederbrock performer
351-w .
Now im not sure what ive got I thought I could look at the
oil filter number and tell but they use the same on just about
everything.
Can someone help out and tell me how to tell what ive got
I do know that I have a c6 auto trans.
Any help will be very much greatful .

Thanks in advance for any help

Sounds like a 351 to me. the 302 intake wont interchange with the 351 since the heads are further apart. You can tell the difference between the two by measuring that distance or the height of the block, since the 351 is taller than the 302. Hope this helps, Joe.
