Thats a good idea, never woulda thought about a demo company. They might be over sized though, worth a call. Hopefully if i come home drunk i can make it in the house thats 10 feet away. Haha bet that was interesting.
Try plumbing supply stores, lowes, HD even places specailizing in hot tubes would be able to steer you in the right direction. You won't need to use HOT water the lower settings would most likely work to give you the heat you would require.
how about this one, seems to have good reviews with contiuious usage (spelling) online the home stores just have fountain pumps, gas powered, or plastic. non of which looks like a good idea.
I chatted with my plumber friend, he recommends a 1/4hp or 1/8 hp smaller pump with a lower flow rate. 650gal per hour is too much. Around 200GPH max.
Good luck and keep us posted
I've got radiant in-floor heat in my garage. I used a Munchkin boiler and have two circulating pumps. You can get free design and all of the parts you need from Radiantec Heating, Energy Efficient + Green- and it is affordable!. They did my layout, provided great technical support and can fabricate your manifolds for you too. I purchased the boiler from a local HVAC supplier. The Munchkin is super-efficient and varies its output to your needs. It's been in for almost 6 years, and it has performed flawlessly and the cost of running it is very reasonable.
walls are up, roof is on, floor is level, plastic is down, mesh is down, 3/4" tubes about 12" appart are down. concrete is comming tomarrow morning. and we're using it for a party on monday. yeehaw. i even ended up with an extra roll of tubing. taking that back will almost pay for the pump i still have to buy, ill be getting the one from grainger. also bought 2 52" fans from homedepot $29 each. ha ha gotta keep it cool too.
finally got the rustolum epoxy on and the truck is sitting out side waiting to be put in. still shopping for a garage door. Hoping not to break $1000 but i also want the mack daddy R-17 16'x7' door. menards is $995 for a do it yourselfer deal. but the guy said it should go on sale before winter hits as a final push to sell a few so i'm kinda holding out. I don't have any money to waste on that. Not looking like ill be heating the garage this winter anyway. No insulation in celing, no copper to fininsh system, and still no doors. So doors is first.
and hopping off the soapbox, is r-17 too much for a garage door, i just figured i would want the best avaliable to save heat in long run. good logic or not??

Spending a little or maybe alot extra a overhead garage is worth every penny. I live in NW Indiana and you & I know how cool winters are up here. I got a double side, insulated, upper panels with windows for light 16+8 installed for around $1700. I still don't have heat yet but that door does make a differents in the winter. And I am really glad I got the windows in the top it really lets in the light. I did alot of reseach before I got the door I did buy and Menards doors are not the best or even middle grade when it comes to quality. They are cheap for a reason.
i got in contact with a local installer. for $16 more they install with same r value and thicker gage steel door. their doors are 1 gage heaver than the menards special seems like 25 gage exterior is standard. is this right? sounds light.
