21 Atlanta, GA District Sales Office (Where the dealership would have ordered it from) the lack of number behind the 21 usually means it was bought off of the lot at a dealership.
Thank you, thats cool.
I live in michigan and went and bought the truck from Tenessee last fall.
So the truck was made here in michigan, sent to Georgia and ended up in Tenessee, only to make its way back to michigan, lol cool stuff.
Thanks, Randy
Randy I'm kinda surprised it wasn't made in Norfolk and sent south to Georgia. Sending from Michigan would have been a pretty penny to ship. They were most likely sent via train. It's good to see some history of one truck and how far it has gone in it's life.
I hear ya Kj, i worked for GM for 24 years and through those years i have seen a lot of wasted money, lol. If Ford is like GM only certain trucks were made at certain plants. Hence a lot of shipping all over. but like you said mostly rail. My plans with my 66 are to turn it into a mutt so to speak. I bought a donor 76 f100 4x4, i am going to put the 66 body on the 4x4 chassis.
