Bad leak

Is it possible to replace an A/C hose yourself? Anyone have any advice? I have a bad leak at the bottom of my radiator.

What does A/C hoses have to do with a radiator leak? But to answer your question, you shouldn't unless you have the equipment to evacuate the A/C system then refill it.

yeah you have to capture the freon, but look closely to determine since you are indicating bottom of radiator.

Most of the time the routing of the hoses is too the side and then in front of the radiator to the AC core.

I appreciate the reply. I was hoping it was just a hose but no beans. The bottom connection to the radiator is leaking. I cant see where the opposite end runs to. It looks way in there and I don't see where it ends.

Hey "F..ing new guy" he was serious about the AC lines having nothing to do with the radiator.
To change a line you have to pull down the refrigerant and store it.
The fines for releasing refrigerant start at $5000.
The condenser is in front of the radiator.
The radiator has the coolant hoses and the transmission lines going to it.

If you want respect you need to exhibit some yourself.

Can you put your finger on the leak, get some of the moisture on your finger and smell. What does it smell/look like?

If red then it is transmission, more of a clear color then it is coolant.

It's definitely red, but the prior owner looks to be running dexcool red for coolant. We shall see.
