Escape 4 cyl.?
There are better choices, I think. The 4-cylinder's mileage is only 2 mpg higher than the V-6's, and the 4's performance is marginal, to say the least. If I were looking for a vehicle like this, and I wanted high mileage, I'd look at a Focus wagon before I'd consider the 4-cylinder Escape. If you really need an SUV, then the V6 Escape makes a lot more sense- resale value would be much better, too.

Before i bought my Escape i looked at the 4 cyl. escape and it was a dog compared to th v6. I reccommend going with the V6 it has a good acceleration and a alot of kick. the gas milage is also good too. go with the V6 Just my opinion tho.
