HI all... I recently purchased a 2001 F250 CC, Platinum Edition with the 6CD changer stereo. Well the CD portion of the radio is DOA. I would ideally like to replace it with some type of full-screen NAV system or at worst with an identical working replacement. I called Crutchfield and they told me I'd have to "Mod" the dash... to the point that I could not revert back to factory.... I'm guessing this means major cutting???? Anyone have any recommendations for an easy-fit NAV system or do I just have to go OEM replacement?

Reason: Clarify
from most of the people who have managed to squeeze one in, it seems like the cutting that is necessary only effects areas of the dash that are not visable when a unit is installed, making it possible to fit a factory unit back in if desired.
I'll be making an attempt at this later in the year when it gets warmer out.
