Question

200amp alt question

hey guys i want to convert /change my 200 amp alt to a smaller
factory alt. any one out there done this yet. any tips would help

Down grade? can I ask why? Do you have a pic?
It may bolt right up. You may have to change a bracket. Maybe from a junk yard.

the truck use to be an ambulance and has a service bed on it now. the stock alt
are cheaper. i dont need the extra power. the factory alt will bolt up to mine
i just need to know the wiring so i dont screw up

Does it have two alternators?
I believe ambulances had two alt's.
