Slip yoke
I was wondering if I should have any play between my rear slip yoke and rear drive shaft. I'm trying to find out why I can't get power to the ground quickly and this is where I think the problem may be. I seem to have a lot of play in it compared to the front drive shaft. Thanks in advance.

No. The joint should slide smoothly, but not wiggle side-to-side nor have any slack when rotating. It may be cheaper to get a whole new driveshaft made than to have a new slip joint welded into your old one - check with Six States Distributors.
