Maintenance Schedule

Just looking over the Maintenance Schedule on my 2011 F-150 and noticed it states for every oil change they also require to lubricate all non-sealed steering linkage, ball joints, suspension joints, half and drive-shafts and u-joint.

Now I have not been under this truck yet but I am thinking most of this stuff is sealed. Can someone confirm what is not sealed and would need to be lubed.

svt2205,

I know you have been under the new 2011's can you confirm?

Thanks

I have not looked on the drive shafts but I can say that I did not see any grease fittings on the ball joints or tie rod ends. Next time I'm looking around under there, I'll look more to be sure.

It's been many years now since Ford removed the grease fittings on the F150. I can't imagine they've put any on the 11.
