My pass side window has been getting stuck down, in the past it has always gone back up but now its down for good. Thought it was the motor by reading other peoples post, so bought one and still wont go up. Got out my MM and tested plug that goes to motor and get 12v when switch is pushed each way. Pulled both switches and sanded contacts, pulled both boots to check for broken wires, and nothin, gettn ready to rain and cant get it in the barn. Anything else to test?
looks like two you can always use a jump box or battery to jump straight to the wires going into motor one way is up and one way is down.that will get outa the rain and you can diagnose switches later.

i had the same problem but with both windows i checked everything and had a mechanic at the ford garage said its not an uncomman problem so he said theres a relay under the the dash that over heats and goes bad its caused by the cover on the fuse box so he put a new relay in and took the cover off and havent had a problem ever since hope this helps
