piston compression distance?

Does the piston compression height/distance matter for my 240 I6 ? I found some 302 pistons with 1.605 compression height vs. the 1.585 will they work?

Add that number to your rod length and 1/2 your stroke, and compare it to your deck height.

How close to the top of the deck were the stock pistons? Is there room for the "extra" in the combustion chamber. (hint-NO)

If the stockers were down the hole and the 302s give you "zero" deck, you might be OK.
