Tranny dipstick

I just replaced my tranny fluid and put on one of those extra deep tranny oil pans and i cant really tell the level of the fluid because when i insert the dip stick wipe it off insert it again and look at the dip stick on the side with the crosshairs are there is only a little fluid on the tip, but on the back side of the dip stick from the tip up about 2inches is coverd in atf ! What is up with that i turned the truck on and ran it throgh the gears and i got the same result , any help or tip's has anyone else have this happen to them ?

Its caused but the atf sitting in the tube. If you check it in a few hours or in the morning you will get a better reading

Ok, thanks thats what i was going to do, i just wanted to make sure it wasnt a sighn of something broken or gonna break really cant afford to mess something up .
