on my 90 f350 my buddy and i have started on this hard to start b.s. i m so sick of. i got a new contoller and relay all one set up for 70 bucs, as my buddy knows half the folks at napa. one year warrenty. i know dave said just put a 86 relay , but i figured the controller was original as it said international so it would b like 21 years old. next half the wires going to the glowplugs were falling apart. fixed the wires. still hard to start. this is where i get pissed business was booming so i paid a shop to fix all this stuff almost a year ago and this shop told me they were putting in motorcraft glow plugs the z d 9 i guess. so we pulled a few glow plugs and they were autolites not motorcraft. so now we pulled some glow plugs out of my 93 f250 and sure enough the autolites are garbage. well i m ordering 8 motorcraft z d 9 glowplugs from rockauto.com when i get my next pyck. now my f250 has always been good to me the 93 and it had german glow plugs beru i think is the name. these beru glow plugs now must be ok as they have been in my f250 for like 5 years. i m still ordering motocraft though, as it s what dave says in the top threads. and now of course i got return line leaks too. i m ordering those vitron o rings from mccmaster carr and a return line l
