well jeff he likes too drink and go too peoples homes and make like a bad a-- so that may just happen yet ........ done it too his bro in law not too long ago and got in a world of crap over it !!!

fordman i want too thank you for the offer on the t-5 . i had / have a plan b that i worked out long before as i was having issues finding a good t-5 . i really appreciate it . that's why this site is so damn good every one helps everyone else out !!!!! and our arguments amongst our selves are usually quite entertaining LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
plan b. my t98 four speed with my 8.8 diff with a 3.08:1 gear . with the low 1st gear even an anemic flatty could pull a much bigger truck off the line , and i done the math even with the 3.08 you couple it with the t98's first you got a final drive in that gear greater than the t-5 with my 3.92:1 dana in her now ................ i'll have a final in 4th of obviously 3.08 but that computes out with the tire sizes i'm going to run at something like 2100 r.p.m @ 65 mph . at present i can only get 45-50 sustained as she's screaming and sucking the suds down , and getting warm . so all is not lost !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
