Front end problem 89 f150
I have a 89 f150 2 wheel drive. The front tries can be moved some when putting pressure on the top and bottom of the tire. It also has a vibration in the front end at 65 to 75 resulting in cupped tires. I just replaced the shocks and wheel bearings. I don't see any play in the front end parts. Do I need to replace the hub and or axel? Where is the best placed to start. I am new to this site but all of my vehicles are ford 89 f 150, 95 Tarus SHO and 94Explorer. I will be thankfull for any help I get.

If you're sure you set the wheel bearing adjusting nuts properly, then the only other places for that slop would be at the ball joints or axle pivot bushings. A Haynes manual will explain in great detail how to check & change them. Neither is extremely difficult, but the ball joints will require a special tool (BJ press), which you can usually borrow from the parts store.
