Roland asks a VERY pointed question.

Wheel chocks and jack stands, chocks and jack stands, chocks and jack stands.......

Glad you're just limping. It could'a been MUCH worse!

Whenever I remove a tire/wheel to service something on my truck, I always put the tire under the truck. That way it is out of my way and if by chance the truck should fall off the jackstands and on me that tire just may give me enough room to breathe.

Glad you were not hurt.

jack stands, jack stands, jack stands. What were you doing to make the truck fall off the jack? Or did the jack loose pressure?

I think it is not always easy to reveal such an error. This deserves a rep, so I just gave you my first rep.

Glad you're alright and can joke about the situation. I didn't mean to offend with my comment about the jack stands. Like David said, we ALL make mistakes and I've had my share too. I don't like to repeat things and learn valuable lessons from them. Take care, brother!
