Where were the jack stands when all this happened?
Whenever I remove a tire/wheel to service something on my truck, I always put the tire under the truck. That way it is out of my way and if by chance the truck should fall off the jackstands and on me that tire just may give me enough room to breathe.

Glad you're alright and can joke about the situation. I didn't mean to offend with my comment about the jack stands. Like David said, we ALL make mistakes and I've had my share too. I don't like to repeat things and learn valuable lessons from them. Take care, brother!
