4x4 trans swap prob
Im swapping a 92 explorer trans and transfercase into a 94 explorer, everything is an exact match had transmissions side by side on ground. I get everything bolted up flywheel nuts snugged down brackets and backing plate are in line. Thelast 3/8" i bolt down all the bolts the trans and engine bind and wont turn over. I've pulled the rig back out 2 times and everything seems perfect. I've tried swiveling and pushing the torque converter further into the bellhousing but it snaps into place like it should and wont go any farther. anyone had a similar problem or know of differences between a 92 and 94 set up?

Are the "flexplates", or mounting plates (as used in later years I know), have different "dishing" on them?
Just a few guesses.
