need help
hey i just bought a 1991 ford f250 7.3L IDI deisel and it drove and startedjust fine yesterday. Drove it 50 miles and it did great... then i got homeand drove it a little last night around 8:30pm and it did grat... i went to start it around 10:00am this morning and it wouldnt start it cranks and it wants to start but wont. the water in the fuel light came on but only while i try to start it and also some type of vapor or exaust or something is coming out of the exaust pipe when i try to start it but nothing.... what should i do i need this truck to run... please help any suggestions...

read the first sticky, what you have is a glow plug problem from sounds of things. It is exactly what the PO of my truck did to me, plugged it in and when i came to buy, it would start like a dream. Do you have a block heater? little cord sticking out of the grill or below the bumper? If so plug er in and give it an hour ot two and see if it will kick over. if so, then refer to the first sticky.
edit, anyone remember their first post? the op is exactly me two years ago. hopefully not frankentrucked though!
