What trans have you got. Should be either C6 auto, E4OD auto (overdrive) or ZF5 manual.

What he says.
For both your manual trans and transfer case you need automatic transmission fluid. So if you want synthetic go with something like Mobil 1 ATF Assuming you do have a 5 speed).

This is only approx., trans 4qts, transfer case 2qts, front axle 2qts and rear axle 3.7qts.
If you fill each to the lowest edge of the level hole you should be good.

K I changed the diff fluids, the front was like new but changed it anyways, and the rear was kinda dirty.
Next is the trans fluid, pull the driveline and replace the output seal and reseal the tail shaft on the tcase and fill it.

So should I use synthetic mobile stuff or the mercon stuff from ford for the trans and t-case

Well, Ford no longer supports Mercron spec fluid, just Mercron V. Mobil1 ATF meets or exceeds Mercron V spec. So either use a synthetic like Mobil1 ATF or a fluid that meets Mercron V spec.
