I owned a late 70's duallie that was so much fun. I guess that I just developed a love for them. Here is something I found out on the internet. This makes my heart pound:

I stole these from an older thread here in the forum:
If, however, you have an F-4/5/6 you'll be fabbing your whole box. Here's a pic of an F-5 I borrowed from our friend Bob Jones. This is a custom bed the guy made.
Then, because I love the look, here's a factory DRW Studebaker tonner.
I'm glad nobody was here to hear me giggle and squeal like a 5 year old girl as I looked at those pics. Ever been embarassed in front of only yourself? anyway... ahem.
I'd put a box on the back of that first black 35/36? truck. and that stude. that stude!

If only I had the room. Actually i would like to build one using a Model B mack. First got to finish my 50 F2.
Heck guys, am I the only one that gets a charge outta that '56 short bed dually? That's about as clean a DRW set up as I've seen. IIRC, the eBay seller actually listed it as a factory prototype. No way that'd be right, but it sure is clean. Stu
I like it too Stu.It would pass as a factory he did a heck of a clean job.
But there is something about not having a bed that makes them look wild.
I would've traded my f1 for this:
