need help

i have been battling this misfire ordeal way to long put brand new motorcraft plugs and cops on it. still have #8 misfire. today i pulled the coil connector off and no change. pulled the injector connector off no change. i am at a loss on what to do on this. Plan is to pull the plug back out and check it in the morning. anything else to check.

Did the new cops have boots with them? Did you check to see if they all had a conductor spring? Could be a bad cop.

new boots on there and all new conductors. it was #8 and #3 that misfire before and now it just #8 switched packs around and doesnt change so either have a bad new plug or so thing else is screwed up.

pulled #8 plug and the electroid was not centered replaced the plug and runs like a champ. just having one dead hole on a v10 is a big difference.

Thanks for the update. Its amazing to me how many people seem to have problems with new plugs. Guess when you get ten of them you really increase the odds of getting a bad one.....
