Im going to tear dowm the motor and replace all seals and parts if needed. Then get it ready for turbo. Pull my current motor and e4od then swap in zf5. Would you guys put turbo on current motor then swap it later on? Id do that if its not to bad of an install. Also how do you know what style of ats it is?
its he housing. The stock ford 93-94 turbos were the 093's and yours is identical to mine, just that mine says Ford rather than ATS on the housing. So what are you going to do with the E4OD when you swap the ZF5 in?

ill check out your install thread. i havent thought of what ill do with it yet. i definitely dont need any more parts laying around. i will see how the zf holds up then prolly get rid of the e40d
I know it is, I don't tow much just daily driver. Well this new motor has less miles and im just taking my time on it making it like new. So ill do turbo install in the mean time. The removal of that motor was way easy... torch front clip and crossmember lol
I'm not sure if wreck needed one but I sure did. I'm sure the banks tube would work as all it does is place the trans tube along the bell housing and up the engine and out of the way of the pipes.
ATS sells them but i have been slacking and just left my home made version in. I do need to get one, both the c6 and e4od are 40 bucks on ats' site. Wish i could find someone that had one and wanted to trade, lol. Id throw up a gp controller or harness for a trans tube right about now haha
hahaha yeah i know, lol. The harness is mint, i was worried about cracking and stuff, nope, its perfect. Just debating on if i want to install it or not, should be able to get it in with the turbo in place....should.
I would be difficult for me to get a new one in with my turbo, the old one works fine so I shouldnt have to worry about it. The dipstick is all of $40, what are you waiting for, lol. It's probably gonna be harder to install now that you have all the piping in though.
yeah i was thinking the same thing but getting the DP in wasnt bad at all. I might just drop it all, which would allow me to wrap and cover the pipe and firewall. hmmmm always something. oh and about what i am waiting for, the wife is sending one of the ponies off for a month of training and board. um yeah a grand is my limit for spendables in a month haha. so anyone wanna trade? i send, you send...lol
