95 fuel gauge problems
I just replaced the fuel filler hose on my 95 ranger. I droped the tank because i did this at lunch at work and had the time. The fuel gauge has worked off and on for 2.5 years. I removed the pump from the tank and tested the float to see if it was electrical. All worked fine then I took the float off the sender and the float had a pinhole in it and was full of fuel. Sealed it up with a industial grade sealer and reinstalled it, the gauge is working fine now. This may be the source of many of this year models fuel gauge issuses.
