update st farm wrote a good fair est. little over 6 grand and i drove it back to the shop. after we pulled the bumper off the tires with the tow truck. . no Chinese or Taiwan parts a used hood and fender the rest new ford . i coulnd not believe that there is none available threw my usual (recycled parts ) venders on the east coat . i had the guy from lkq one of my big suppliers . the hood i wanted was in Louisiana the guy called from there and said it had 6 or 7 dents in it do you still want ? NO!! GOT NEW, these things dont get totaled much i guess. or if they do they get striped quick. like honda stuff. well im going thru my parts now lots of pretty new boxes of shiny stuff. and i should have some left over for some more boxes from clay . will post pic of finished job.
Glad they gave you a fair estimate. I have had state farm for about 15 years now, and have no complaints on home claims or vehicle, have a great local agent.
My accident was 100% the other guy's fault. Officer wrote them a ticket and wrote in the report that it was 100% his fault. Too bad the body shop was kinda crap to deal with, but they got it done.... eventually. If I ran my projects the way they did, I'd be unemployed in about a week. You got your frame checked out, right?
