I had to look it up cause it seemed strange the way you explained it.

IPR Duty Cycle is the Percentage of time the valve is Closed.
An Open valve redirects the flow to the pan, and a closed valve redirects pressure to the heads.

It's easier to just say that its how hard the pump is working. haha.

Strange way to think of how it works though when you pull it apart, you wouldn't' think that it move's that much, and is only an on and off type of thing.

Doesnt a scan gauge measure dc? i may need to get one of those from somebody eventaully.

Yeah, Scangauge will tell you injector pulsewidth
DC.
PSI on the pump.
all sorts of useful stuff.

I use mine mianly on oil temp and hpop dc.

between that and boost and egt's, you get a good idea of how hard your working your truck.
