My FICM recently went bad and I ordered a repaired unit from swamps diesel. They offer a standard 48V reman and an optional 58V for extra performance. The install wasn't too bad with the reseating the connectors being the biggest challenge for me.

When I had to replace my shot FICM I managed to snag one from a salvage yard for around $300 and they warranted it for a year or something. Just an idea to try and look around some before you dump $500 plus into it. I did not have to go to a dealer and have anything done as the FICM was around the same vehicle year, maybe newer I forget.

 

Dieselparts.com offer one for $420 plug and play. Or what i may do is send mine out to circuitboardmedics.com for a rebuild. They charge either $325 or $375 i think.
